Concordia to Host 3rd Annual Golf Scramble Championships at Heron Lakes

PORTLAND, Ore.—Concordia University is set to host its 3rd Annual Golf Scramble Championships at Heron Lakes Golf Course on August 23.
The scramble, which will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., is used as a fundraiser for the Cavalier men’s and women’s golf teams. Funds from the tournament will be used to cover travel expenses for the upcoming season.
Among the highlights of the tournament will be hole-in-one prizes on all par-3s with the top prize a trip for two to Maui which is valued at $5,000.
The Cavalier golf teams have swept the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships the past three seasons with the CU women continuing to place fifth at the NAIA National Championships last season.
Departing senior, Lindsay Aho, repeated as a First-Team All American selection while seven Cavaliers earned all-CCC honors.
